Ele \u00e9 uma\u00a0exig\u00eancia do Conselho Nacional de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o, resolu\u00e7\u00e3o de CNE\/CES n.3, de 19\/2\/2002, que instituiu as Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais do Curso de Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Odontologia. No art. 12 da referida resolu\u00e7\u00e3o l\u00ea-se: \u201cPara conclus\u00e3o do Curso de Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Odontologia, o acad\u00eamico dever\u00e1 elaborar um trabalho sob orienta\u00e7\u00e3o docente\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A elabora\u00e7\u00e3o do TCC dever\u00e1 estar vinculada \u00e0s disciplinas TCC I, II e III do Curso de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Odontologia da FOUFMG.<\/p>\n<p>Os objetivos do TCC s\u00e3o:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sistematizar o conhecimento produzido pelo aluno sobre um tema fundamentado na literatura cient\u00edfica, mediante supervis\u00e3o, orienta\u00e7\u00e3o e avalia\u00e7\u00e3o docente.<\/li>\n<li>Propiciar ao aluno um momento destinado \u00e0 realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de um trabalho decorrente de sua produ\u00e7\u00e3o intelectual, com a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de metodologia cient\u00edfica.<\/li>\n<li>Oportunizar a reflex\u00e3o, o questionamento, a reavalia\u00e7\u00e3o e a atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o curricular do aluno<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.odonto.ufmg.br\/tcc\/2016\/10\/10\/resolucao-n-012016-colgrad-foufmg\/\">resolu\u00e7\u00e3o 01\/2016, COLGRAD\/FOUFMG<\/a>, instituiu o Regulamento
