Esses cuidados refletem diretamente na longevidade (maior dura\u00e7\u00e3o) da\u00a0pr\u00f3tese, na sa\u00fade da cavidade anoft\u00e1lmica e consequentemente no bem estar e qualidade de vida. Esse Guia elaborado pela equipe do\u00a0<em>Projeto de Extens\u00e3o de Atendimento ao paciente anoft\u00e1lmico com indica\u00e7\u00e3o de\u00a0pr\u00f3tese\u00a0ocula<\/em>r\u00a0visa a orienta\u00e7\u00e3o sobre os cuidados da sa\u00fade da cavidade\u00a0ocular\u00a0e da\u00a0pr\u00f3tese\u00a0por meio de uma linguagem simples e acess\u00edvel.<\/p>\n<p>As a\u00e7\u00f5es do projeto iniciaram no primeiro semestre de 2019, atendendo pacientes com intuito n\u00e3o somente de promover a restaura\u00e7\u00e3o artificialmente do \u00f3rg\u00e3o ausente ou ajudar na corre\u00e7\u00e3o de um \u00f3rg\u00e3o deformado, como tamb\u00e9m proporcionar melhora na autoestima.
